Even after taking 800 wickets, some people can’t digest that and are still calling him "chucker." God bless them. It’s a shame that you can’t see greatness; the man has 800 wickets and was cleared by the ICC. Anyone who thinks he is a chucker doesn’t care about cricket.

What a time it was for Murali, Shane Warne, and Anil Kumble—three legendary magical spinners of all time. The great Murali You don’t see him jumping around and yelling in delight when he takes a wicket. Wicket after wicket, he was able to keep even the best batsmen guessing and uneasy. I'm an Indian supporter, but as a spin bowler myself, I'm always going to be on Murali's side. I cheered so much for the ball that got KP in the second inning. What a ball!

Murali says Brian Lara is the only one who consistently reads him well. Lara was a legend, to be sure. As an Indian, most of my all-time favourites are mostly from Sri Lanka: Murali, Sanga, Vaas, Mahela, Sanath, and many more. It will be good to see the Sri Lankan team win any prominent ICC trophy in the coming years, as it is sad to see a legendary team that always stands in the top 5 now falling behind in the standings.
