South Africa won the three-Test series 2–1 against India. After this, former England captain Michael Vaughan tried to troll former Indian opener Wasim Jaffer on social media. However, Vaughan had to pay the price and Jaffer gave a befitting reply. Vaughan wrote on Twitter after the defeat of the Indian team – Evening Jaffer! Just checking if you are okay? Wasim Jaffer also reacted to this tweet of Vaughan, and gave a strong reply. Jaffer replied and wrote – Haha, all right Michael, but don't forget that we are still 2-1 ahead of you in the test series.

Vaughan and Jaffer never leave any chance to troll each other on social media. Recently, Jaffer trolled Vaughan after England were all out for less than 100 runs in the Ashes. The series Jaffer was talking about was the Test series played last year. In August 2021, the Indian team went to England for a five-match Test series. Only four tests could be conducted in this series and the last test was postponed due to Corona.

Then the Indian team was leading 2-1 in the series after four matches. The last Test of the series will be played in Birmingham from July 1 to July 5, 2022. India needs to win this match to stay in the race for the World Test Championship final. South Africa defeated India by seven wickets in the third and final Test played in Cape Town. This is Team India's second consecutive defeat in this series. Earlier in Johannesburg, the African team defeated the Indian team by seven wickets.

After losing the first Test at Centurion, South Africa made a tremendous comeback, winning two consecutive matches to win the series 2–1. India had scored 223 in the first innings, and South Africa were bundled out for 210 in the first innings. After this, thanks to Rishabh Pant's century in the second innings, India had scored 198 runs and set a target of 212 runs in front of Africa. In reply, Keegan Pietersen's excellent 82 and Russie van der Dusen's 41 not out helped South Africa win a resounding victory.
