India reached the third position in the ICC Test Rankings

The International Cricket Council (ICC) released the latest Test team rankings. Where Australia has overtaken Team India and has reached the top. The Kangaroo team got the advantage of winning the Ashes series 4-0 against England. At the same time, India had to face a 2-1 defeat in the Test series against South Africa. If India had managed to win the series against South Africa as well, it might not have snatched the first place from the team.

After this, the African team not only made a strong comeback by winning the second Test, but also won the third match and captured the series. Africa won the Johannesburg and Cape Town Tests by 7 wickets. After coming to the first position in the Test rankings, the Australian team has also reached the second position in the points table of the ICC World Test Championship. The name of Sri Lanka comes in the first place and Pakistan on the third. South Africa and Team India are in fifth place on the fourth.
