Rishabh Pant and Wriddhiman Saha, can play both

India Cricket : The Indian batting line-up in the fourth and final Test match could be weakened due to injuries to Hanuma Vihari, Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin.

In such a situation, the team management can try Wriddhiman Saha as the wicket keeper while Rishabh Pant as the specialist batsman. India can also accompany Mayank Agarwal and Prithvi Shaw as specialist batsmen for the final Test.

Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav and Lokesh Rahul have returned home before injuries before Vihari, Jadeja and Ashwin. Virat Kohli has also returned home due to the birth of his first child.

In the absence of all these, India's lineup does not look right. Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma will start the innings while Cheteshwar Pujara will bat at number three and captain Ajinkya Rahane at number four. But who will be at number five is not decided. Hanuma, who usually batted at number five, was sent to bat at number six on the last day of the third Test. Pant had landed at his place to bat at number five.

Due to the way Pant batted at number five, Pant can play as a batsman at number one, while Saha can play at number six. Former Australia captain Ricky Ponting said on Monday that India should play Pant, who scored 97 runs in the second innings of the third Test, as a batsman and wicketkeeping from Wriddhiman Saha.

The former captain said, "If they (India) play another batsman, they can play well at number five. With this, Pant can bat at number six and Saha at number seven."

The Australian Test captain Tim Paine said his "leadership wasn't good enough" as the bad-tempered third Test was drawn at the SCG.

Fans Comments :

Abhinav : Tim Paine is a great guy. He knows that he has crossed the line and he apologized. Just leave it at that. He has managed revive his career despite season after season of injury. He lost his cool, but as long as he understands it, just let him be.

Pradeep : It takes a brave man to apologize. Kudos, Tim. All mankind makes mistakes and many are driven purely by circumstances, not always because of what we are. The series otherwise has been played in God spirit. Let's move on.

Yash : Don't worry Paine, we will also apologize when you tour to India in 2022, if they pick you for tour.
